The K9 LEAP Grant Program is in it's 15th YEAR as of 2024!! We proudly support the mission of the USDOJ, DEA, and the ATF, local and municipal Law Enforcement Agencies in the United States of America and Law Enforcement in over 30 Countries wourld-wide.

K9 Grants List - K9 LEAP Grant Program

The K9 LEAP Grant Programs primary objective is to assist Law Enforcement Agencies overcome budget restrictions, and the often times overwhelming costs associated with acquiring and deploying Highly Skilled, Operationally Efficient and Effective Police Service K9 Units.

Funding assistance is available to approved Law Enforcement Agencies as outlined below.

The K9 LEAP Grant is an internal Grant of $2,500.00 to $4,500.00.
The Maximum grant assistance allowance is 75% (three quarters of the total start-up cost) applicable towards the purchase costs of the Police Service Dog, Handler Training Course, National Certification (Approved by SCOTUS), and all Equipment from K9 Working Dogs International, for Law Enforcement Agencies that qualify in the following States: US Map

If you are currently raising funds for a K9, or will be in the next 1-6 months, apply now, as Grant funding is available to Agencies that qualify on a first-come-first-serve approval process. If your State is not listed above in the K9 LEAP Grant Program availability, PLEASE contact us to request funding resources for Agencies in your State.
